Almost everyone has one at the back of their closet: the classic pencil skirt. But unless you work a corporate 9-to-5 gig, this staple may not see the light of day except for on the occasional interview…until now. When we spotted this ensemble featuring a lovely skirt on stylist Elisa Nalin at Paris Fashion Week, I found an easy DIY were they grabbed scissors and mustered the courage to get a little leggy. This DIY takes a ho-hum skirt to serious dance-floor status. Check out the how-to below and show Angelina Jolie how it’s done. Check out video here for instructions.

Thank you! I actually make my own carldnaes as well, but yours is a nice tough-love sort of motivator. Agree with Victoria as well, happy that you feel comfortable enough to give it away.www.nomadicd.com
