We are in at the end of February, its still pretty chilly here in Georgia, but March is around the corner, and that means spring!!! My favorite season. Also every year I plan a warm getaway to reward myself for being completely covered during the winter months. Last year I went to Greece with my husband Gable. This year we are embarking the Royal Caribbean: Freedom of the Seas. What makes this trip super special is that the whole family is going, and I mean the whole family. It will be 13 of us on this boat! I am currently designing a family trip shirt, but no worries it will be chic and fab.Any who all this thinking about boats and the ocean is making me feel in the nautical state of mind. It seems like I am not the only one. To start with J.Crews new swim line has many nautical inspired patterns and also Ann Taylor Loft has a new Vacation collection that is filled with the funnest little pieces for my trip.  Also I looked at Tory Burch who has such a great resort collection, her tunics, handbags and bright colored accessories are divine. For its pre-fall 2013 collection, Lacoste found inspiration in nautical motifs and ski-resort inspired wear. Model Ruby Aldridge wears colorful stripes, reminding us of the sea in relaxed, sportswear shapes. A nautical piece is timeless so maybe it wont hurt to splurge a bit. Michael Kors gives us the best of a both worlds: A-lined nautical striped skirts and dresses, skinny khakis, fresh trench dresses with wide belts, and racy cut out evening gowns. See some of the fun stuff I found for our trip!
